Full Stack Energy (FSE) is a boutique development division of ResourceKraft. FSE collaborate with businesses and organisations globally to assist them create sophisticated technology solutions that will enable them to fulfil their commitments to sustainability and decarbonisation, while concurrently improving our client’s competitive advantage. Every day, our software and hardware solutions are controlling and monitoring electrical loads (like Electric Vehicle chargers), energy storage systems (like grid-scale batteries) and renewable energy systems (like solar and wind).

ResourceKraft is recruiting a passionate Full Stack Developer, EV Technology to to develop comprehensive, highly effective software for sophisticated new technology for the EV industry. The successful candidate will be working, at least initially, on EV charging ecosystem. The candidate must be capable of understanding complex new systems and concepts even when they have not previously been exposed to the domain.

Candidates that we are interested in meeting with will have some experience of the following:

Relevant Technologies:

  • Python
  • Linux
  • SQL
  • JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular, Vue or React)
  • Cloud based architectures (AWS, Azure, Google cloud)Data streaming services such as RabbitMQ, Kafka etc.
  • DB (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Influx)
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • MQTT, WebSockets, REST API
  • EV industry knowledge i.e.:
  • _Charging protocols: OCPP (1.6, 2.0); Backend protocols: OCPI, OCHP, OICP, eMIP

Smart charging implementations and algorithms;
General device communications (MQTT, Modbus, sockets)_

General Requirements:

  • A degree or masters in a technical discipline such as electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
  • Minimum 5 years of development experience
  • Fluent in spoken and written English with good communication skills
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle from creating domain-driven design solutions to integrating them within the existing cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in the eMobility, automotive and energy efficiency domains are a distinct plus.
  • Ability to work well and effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Proven track record of developing highly efficient, extensible, and secure applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and self-evaluate along the way.
  • Demonstratable experience in the design and development of complex technology systems.
  • Excellent work ethic, dependable and responsible.
  • Good collaboration skills.
  • Strong logical and creative problem-solving skills.Being able to work independently or with the team.
  • Not be afraid of speaking up and challenging technical decisions where necessary
  • Be able to communicate confidently and clearly.
  • Able to speak with authority and deep knowledge of your own subject area.

Location:

  • Remote (globally), in the Limerick office or hybrid WFH and office options

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From €44,695.51 per year
